Are there any laws (state laws) that have anything to do with home decor mirrors?

I am doing a project for economics and i really need help because google is giving me all the wrong things. HELP!! ASAP!!!

    Laws regarding home products would fall under consumer law – start there . . . I doubt there is any specific law dealing with mirrors . . . but there are volumes and volumes on consumer protection laws.

    don’t knwo about specific laws, but there might be regulations onthe maufacturing idustries regarding:

    1 – Content of the glass (no lead, etc.)
    2 – min/max denisty of the glass
    3 – mercury content (I think old mirros had mercury in the backing)
    4 – force needed to break the glass
    5 – size or sharpness of shards of broken glass
    6 – smoothness of the surfaces and edges

    I am not saying any of that exists, only that it might.
